Introduction

Our oldest son, Ashton, was diagnosed with moderate Attention Deficit Hyper-Activity Disorder (ADHD) and mild Asperger Syndrome (AS) in April, 2001. Our youngest son, Zachary was diagnosed with mild Asperger Syndrome in September, 2001. Ashton's ADHD is being successfully treated with medication and has had no effect on his wonderful personality. We still have a long road ahead of us for treating his AS difficulties.

Through this process we have experienced feelings of guilt, anger, frustration, confusion, grief and failure just to name a few. This section is an attempt to share with others our experience for the following reasons:
